Job Description:
***2nd Shift*** Support Microbiology laboratory testing including but not limited to Environmental/Water/Bioburden monitoring, media and lab supplies preparation, Sterility Testing and Microbial Identification. Duties include, but are not limited to: . Sterility Testing. Execute sterility testing of finished product following appropriate procedure and compendia requirements. . Microbial Identification of isolates . Manufacturing Support through Environmental Monitoring. Support Manufacturing operations through Environmental Monitoring. The EM consists of surface testing, employee gowning monitoring, viable air monitoring, and air total particle counts. . Media and Lab Supply Preparations. Prepare culture media and supplies needed for test execution. Maintain the microbiology lab inventory. . Water Monitoring/ Bioburden Testing of Product and Disinfectants. Water Monitoring. Execute water, pre-sterilized product and disinfectant testing. . Reading Plates and execute Growth Promoting Testing. Execute and Document final reading of micro testing, including but not limited to Sterility, EM, Water, and Bioburden testing; Assist with Trending and entering of EM results

Qualifications
Qualifications: Required BS degree in Microbiology/Biology or other Life Science with relevant lab experience Special Training: Knowledge of sterility test methods, environmental monitoring, plate reading, identification, and media preparation preferred. Special Training: Aseptic technique preferred. Considerations: Demonstrated flexibility. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities. Working Conditions: Micro lab and manufacturing environment .
